Cookies we use

The list below is generated automatically from the cookies and similar technologies actually in use on Amabrik, so it stays up to date as our setup changes. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the dashboard to function and cannot be switched off through a consent choice.

Analytics

On the Amabrik marketing site we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand site usage, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. GA4 sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies listed above. We use this to improve the site. Where consent is required, analytics cookies are set only after you agree, and you can change your choice at any time.

Widgets on customer sites

The widgets that Amabrik customers embed on their own websites use first party localStorage on those sites (not cookies set by amabrik.com), for example to remember that a visitor dismissed a banner or to apply frequency capping. This storage stays on the visitor's device and is not used for cross site tracking. The submit endpoint that receives a widget submission stores only a hashed or truncated IP address for abuse prevention, never the raw IP address.

How to control cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or removing cookies and clearing site data. Browser help pages explain how to do this for your specific browser. Note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will stop the Amabrik dashboard from working, since they are required to sign you in and keep your session secure. You can also clear a site's localStorage from the same browser settings, which resets widget preferences such as a dismissed banner.
