01 LiveChat is a human-agent platform. Amabrik is AI-first.
LiveChat is built around human agents answering customers in real time through a shared inbox, with AI as a sidekick (Copilot suggests responses, ChatBot automates simple flows). Amabrik flips that: the AI chatbot is the front line, trained on your content, answering visitors in seconds, and handing off to a human only when it can't help. If most of your questions are covered by your own pages, docs, and FAQ, an AI-first approach handles them without a support team online.
02 Flat by site, not per agent per month
LiveChat charges per agent: $19/agent/mo on Starter (annual), $49 on Team, $79 on Business, and custom on Enterprise. Three agents on Team is $147/mo before taxes, and it grows with every hire. Amabrik is a flat $29/mo for 1 site, with no per-seat fee, no per-chat fee, and no visitor or pageview caps. The price doesn't move when your team or traffic grows.
03 Your own AI key, no per-resolution markup
Amabrik's chatbot runs on your own provider key (OpenAI, Anthropic, others). You pay the model provider directly at their cost, and there's no per-resolution, per-conversation, or per-message fee from Amabrik. LiveChat's AI is bundled into the platform; its ChatBot add-on starts at $52/mo billed annually on top of the per-agent plan.
04 Trained on your own content
Point the chatbot at your site and docs and it answers visitor questions from your own material: pricing, shipping, returns, setup guides, FAQ. It's an AI answer bot, not a routing system for human agents. There's no shared inbox, no ticketing, and no canned responses to write by hand.
05 Leads pass straight to your CRM
Anything the chatbot or forms capture goes straight to your connected CRM, email tool, or webhook the instant it lands. Amabrik never stores, logs, or sells captured leads. There's no contact database and no submissions table. Amabrik isn't a CRM.
06 No Powered-by badge
No Amabrik logo or link on your widgets, on any plan. The loader is under 5 KB, code-split and lazy-loaded, with heavy widgets in their own frame so your pages stay fast.
