01 Submissions pass through, never stored
Paperform stores every response on its platform. You view them in Paperform, filter them, export them, and sync them to other tools from there. Amabrik works the other way: each submission forwards to your connected CRM, email tool, or webhook the instant it lands, and nothing is stored, logged, or kept by us. There is no submissions table, no responses viewer, no hosted database. Your form data lives in your own system from the moment a visitor hits submit.
02 No submission caps, no overage fees
Paperform's free plan stops at 30 submissions a month, Essentials gives 1,200 a year ($24/mo), and Pro gives 12,000 a year ($49/mo), with per-block overage fees of $7.50 to $10 a month when you go over. Amabrik has no submission caps on any plan. You pay a flat price, not by how many people fill in your forms, so a busy month never triggers an overage or a forced upgrade.
03 No badge on any plan
Paperform shows Paperform branding on its Free and Essentials plans and only lets you remove it from the Pro plan at $49/mo. Amabrik puts no Powered-by logo or link on any widget, on any plan, including the entry plan. Your forms look like your own site from the first day.
04 One snippet, ten widgets, two scanners
Paperform is a standalone form tool. Amabrik's single async snippet also adds cookie consent, a banner, popups, an AI chatbot, reviews, social feeds, social proof, bookings, and a chat button, plus a Security scan and an SEO/AEO scan. One bill, one script, every widget your site is missing.
05 GDPR-clean without a response database
Because Amabrik keeps no submission data, there is no hosted response database to encrypt, export on a subject-access request, or purge. Paperform stores responses on its servers, which is one more third-party dataset to account for under GDPR. Amabrik also includes a worldwide-compliant cookie-consent widget with Google Consent Mode v2.
06 Invisible spam control, no reCAPTCHA
Amabrik forms ship with an invisible captcha (a proof-of-work challenge), rate limiting, and a domain allowlist so a copied snippet can't run on a different site. Real visitors solve no puzzle and see no checkbox, and there's no Google reCAPTCHA loaded on your page.
